VISUAL LITERATURE
This page is dedicated to the overwhelming inspiration I experience almost daily with The Elevator. I channel that inspiration into video creation—a form of expression I’ve loved my whole life. I wrote The Elevator as a novel because I’m wordy by nature, but I see it in my head as a film—already playing, as if I should be able to pull it up on Netflix.
AI has become an unexpected paintbrush, allowing me to bring these visions to life in ways I never could have imagined when I first began dreaming up this world, its characters, and their story over 20 years ago.
What you see below is the result of hours, days, and sometimes weeks of work: custom image design, meticulous cutouts, color grading, scene building, AI prompting to animate characters and environments, motion graphics, and careful sequencing of 5–8 second clips into cohesive, story-driven visuals.
My ultimate dream is to see this saga adapted for film with live actors and cinematic storytellers who share my vision and passion for this world. Until then, I stretch a modest, work-from-home budget to create small glimpses of what I see so clearly in my mind’s eye.
Each video holds a piece of my heart, because each one carries the spirit of The Elevator.
Enjoy.
